The Water Is Flowing Again At The Meridian Hill Park Fountain | DCist

You are cordially invited to APT DC's annual summer picnic at Meridian Hill Park on Saturday, June 26th from 10am to 12pm!

Meridian Hill Park, the JJ Earley jewel at the cusp of the Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights neighborhoods, is one of the most popular public parks in DC. Over the years, the physical fabric of the park has deteriorated due to the constant wear and tear. The National Park Service (NPS) has been working through a phased approach to restore the park and the current phase of construction is taking place at the lower plaza. Join Consigli Project Manager and APT Treasurer Naomi Doddington during the summer picnic for an overview of the work completed to date and the upcoming scope of work.

Please note, this is not a hard hat tour. A vantage point at the top of the great terrace will allow picnic attendees to look over the jobsite. We recommend that all attendees follow applicable recommendations from the CDC regarding COVID-19.

Lunch will be provided for all those registered for the event.
