Preservation, Conservation, and Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Structures and Sites

The Washington, DC Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology is pleased to announce its Fall 2022 Symposium. This year's theme is Sacred Spaces: Preservation, Conservation, and Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Structures and Sites.  Presentations will be centered around work done at a current or former sacred structure or site which may include but are not limited to churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, cemeteries and burial sites, and other spaces considered sacred to their patrons and adherents.  The Symposium will be held at Sixth & I, an historic event space and former synagogue in Downtown Washington, DC.
