APT DC is joining with the Commercial Real Estate Women's (CREW) Maryland Suburban Chapter to present a lecture by Clare Lise Kelly, Architectural History Specialist for the Montgomery County Planning Department and author of the book Montgomery Modern: Modern Architecture in Montgomery County, Maryland, 1930-1979.
A breakout session with Nakita Reed*^ and W. Ward Bucher III*, of Encore Sustainable Design follows the lecture. The two will discuss historic preservation and the renovation of the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club. Rick Brown, owner and developer of the club, will introduce the speakers.
Heavy hor d'oeuvres will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
Registration is $45 for APT and CREW members and $65 for non-members. Please register by March 3rd through the CREW Maryland Suburban website.
