Emerging Professional Sponsorship Program


APT DC is pleased to sponsor the annual Emerging Professional Sponsorship Program (EPSP), a tradition since 1999. The program provides stipends for an active APT DC member who is a recent graduate to attend the annual APTI conference.

As part of its mission, APT DC supports emerging professionals that specialize in historic preservation or one of its affiliated fields - architecture, architectural or materials conservation, architectural history/research, construction, construction management, engineering, interiors, landscape architecture, or planning.

October 26-30, 2026 | Indianapolis, IN
Preservation Trades Network: International Preservation Trades Workshop
September 17-19, 2026 | Medina, NY
Association for Preservation Technology - DC Chapter: Annual Fall Symposium
September 11, 2026 | Alexandria, VA (Full Registration Fee and Closing Happy Hour Only)

Award: One (1) sponsorship is available for the APTI conference, one (1) sponsorship is available for the IPT Workshop and two (2) sponsorships are available for the APT DC annual fall symposium. Applicants must identify their preference. Awarded applicants will receive full registration, and coverage for airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and a food stipend while in attendance at the conference.
